Agricultural Operations Manager

Farm Manager Position Overview Our organization seeks a professional Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our modernized facilities. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as a passion for the growth and development of pigs. Main Responsibilities: • Managing the health and well-being of pigs through proper feeding, breeding, gestation, farrowing, and weaning • Implementing and managing all phases of production, including process optimization and goal-setting • Supervising and training farm staff, providing guidance and leading team meetings • Maintaining compliance with biosecurity protocols and safety procedures, ensuring a clean and healthy environment • Performing hands-on tasks such as high-pressure washing, feeding, breeding, and processing piglets Working Conditions: • A typical day runs from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. • On average, employees work 90-100 hours every biweekly pay period • Staff are given one day off per week • Work locations may vary across different states, including Tennessee, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, etc. • Employees may experience extreme weather conditions depending on the season
