Farm Hand/Laborer

Responsibilities • Assist with animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, grooming, and general care of livestock such as horses, cattle, or other farm animals • Operate and maintain farm machinery and heavy equipment such as tractors, and power tools • Conduct equipment repairs and perform basic welding or mechanical troubleshooting to ensure machinery remains in optimal condition • Support planting, harvesting,healthy crop growth and horticultural success • Handle heavy lifting of supplies or materials safely while adhering to proper techniques for injury prevention • Maintain cleanliness and organization of barns, pens, greenhouses, and storage areas to uphold farm standards • Monitor animal health and behavior; assist with routine veterinary tasks or report concerns promptly Requirements • Proven supervising experience or ability to oversee small teams during daily tasks • Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair • Strong animal husbandry skills with a focus on animal care and handling techniques • Experience operating farm machinery such as tractors, heavy equipment, • Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions • Knowledge of safety protocols related to power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and maintenance procedures Join us if you’re passionate about agriculture and eager to grow your skills in a lively environment dedicated to sustainable farming practices.
