About this job
We're seeking a creative chef to run the kitchen at our farm-to-table restaurant and event venue nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. You'll work hand-in-hand with our farm crew to create seasonal menus.
Responsibilities:
• Design and execute seasonal menus using on-farm produce
• Coordinate harvest planning with the farm team
• Manage kitchen staff and prep schedules
• Oversee food preservation, fermentation, and canning
• Cook for farm dinners, weddings, and special events
• Maintain food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness
Requirements:
• Culinary degree or 3+ years professional kitchen experience
• Passion for seasonal, locally sourced cooking
• Experience with preservation and fermentation techniques
• Ability to manage a small kitchen team
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
