Kahumana Organic Farm Job Title: Farm Worker (Full time and Part-time positions) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily farm operations and ensuring the health and productivity of our crops. This role requires someone who is physical, enjoys working outdoors, and has a passion for farming. Valid photo ID and drug test is required. Responsibilities: • Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. • Perform general farm maintenance tasks such as repairing irrigation systems and weed whacking. • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. • Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications: • Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions. • Basic knowledge of farm equipment operation and maintenance. (Training of all equipment will be provided.) • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. • Previous experience in farming or agriculture preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent required. Schedule: • Monday to Friday, weekends, and nights as needed. • Shift options: 6:30am to 3:30pm/4:30pm Location & environment: • Waianae, Hawaii • Outdoor work environment with prolonged exposure to various weather conditions. Pay & benefits: • Compensation starts at $16/hr. • Health insurance offered for positions 20+ hours.
