Job Duties Start Date: 04/10/2026 End Date: 01/05/2027 Hours: 50 hours/week, Monday - Friday 10 hours/day, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Saturday & Sunday, 0 hours/day) Must Apply By: 08/24/2026 Job Duties: Plant, cultivate, and harvest red beans. Remove weed fields, prepare pesticides, herbicides, and another crop protectant. Mix and apply fertilizers, plant growth chemical, conditioner, and other plant related treatment at the correct time. Clean debris from the field, clean and maintain farm buildings, structures, equipment, and work areas. Lift, carry, and load/unload products and supplies. Use power equipment including but not limited to tractor, planter, and mowers, must operate agricultural equipment safely without supervision. Perform ditching, shoveling, hoeing, hauling, ground preparation, and other manual tasks. Minimum Education Required No High School Diploma or GED required. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
