Farm Worker

Job Summary Join our dynamic agricultural team as a Farm Worker and become a vital part of cultivating, caring for, and maintaining a thriving farm environment. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with diverse farm operations, including crop production, crop transport, equipment maintenance, and general farm management. Your hands-on involvement will help ensure the smooth running of daily farm activities while contributing to sustainable farming practices. Duties • Transporting crop to elevator • Operating planting and harvesting equipment • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other farm machinery safely and efficiently for transporting supplies and managing fields. • Conduct routine equipment repairs,and maintenance tasks to keep machinery in top working condition. • Supervise or collaborate with team members on tasks such as crop management, and equipment operation to ensure safety and productivity. • Maintain accurate records of farm activities, and maintenance reports. Requirements • Proven experience in farming or agriculture with a strong understanding of crop cultivation or animal husbandry. (Helpful) • Truck driving experience, either semi, or 5th wheel. No CDL required. • Supervising experience preferred for overseeing team members or farm projects. • Mechanical knowledge including basic equipment repair, welding skills, and familiarity with farm machinery and power tools. • Ability to operate heavy equipment like forklifts and other heavy machinery safely • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and operate hand tools or power tools effectively. • Basic math skills for measuring inputs, and maintaining logs • Strong attention to detail in maintaining safety standards across all farm activities.
