Join our specialty cut flower farm growing over 100 varieties of seasonal blooms for weddings, florists, and farmers markets in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Responsibilities: • Seed starting, transplanting, and direct sowing of annual and perennial flowers • Daily harvesting, conditioning, and arranging cut flowers • Pest and disease management using organic methods • Maintaining drip irrigation and row cover systems • Creating bouquets and floral arrangements for market • Assisting with wedding and event flower orders Requirements: • Knowledge of cut flower varieties and growing requirements • Experience with succession planting and crop timing • Eye for color and design in bouquet arranging • Comfortable working in heat and rain • Early morning availability (5 AM harvest starts) • Own transportation to farm
