Goat Dairy Manager

Artisan goat cheese producer seeking experienced dairy manager for our herd of 60 Alpine and LaMancha dairy goats. Responsibilities: • Manage breeding program and maintain herd records • Oversee daily milking operations • Coordinate with cheesemaker on milk quality • Supervise kidding season • Pasture and browse management • Train and supervise farm assistants Requirements: • 3+ years goat dairy experience • Knowledge of goat health and nutrition • Experience with cheesemaking a plus • Able to work independently • Strong record-keeping skills • Gentle, patient handling approach
