Mushroom Cultivation Specialist

We're looking for a passionate mushroom cultivation specialist to help expand our gourmet and medicinal mushroom operation in the lush forests of coastal Oregon. Responsibilities: • Manage indoor and outdoor mushroom growing environments • Inoculate logs, straw, and substrate blocks • Monitor humidity, temperature, and air flow in grow rooms • Harvest, grade, and package mushrooms for market • Maintain sterile lab procedures for spawn production • Assist with farmers market sales and restaurant deliveries Requirements: • Experience with shiitake, oyster, or lion's mane cultivation • Understanding of sterile technique and contamination prevention • Comfortable working in humid environments • Attention to detail and record-keeping skills • Interest in mycology and forest ecology
