About the experience
This self-paced Oregon State module approaches livestock production through the health of the pasture. Explore how plants respond to grazing, how to evaluate existing forage and how seasonal management decisions affect the system. The course also introduces options for irrigation, weeds, nutrients and pasture renovation.
Livestock producers, ranch workers and landowners interested in improving a forage-based system.
Allow approximately 2–4 hours, plus optional reading. Oregon State lists six months of access after registration.
