2026 Organic Farm Crew

Dancing Gnome Farm is hiring farm crew members for its certified organic vegetable operation near Wabasha, Minnesota. Both full-season and summer-only positions are available. Crew members work across production, harvest, customer-facing markets, and the care of the farm's laying hens. Responsibilities • Seed, transplant, weed, harvest, wash, and pack a wide variety of certified organic vegetables • Prepare produce for CSA shares and farmers markets • Help care for laying hens and assist with other farm tasks as needed • Work outdoors through changing weather and seasonal conditions • Connect with members at the Wabasha CSA pickup • Help run local farmers market stands Qualifications • Enjoys physical outdoor work and can lift approximately 40 pounds • Learns quickly and adapts to changing priorities and conditions • Works efficiently without constant supervision • Contributes to a positive, dependable, and cooperative crew • Has a sincere interest in fresh, local, organic food Schedule Positions are 32–40 hours per week. Full-season crew members work from March or April through October or early November. Summer-only crew members may work from May or June through August or September. Compensation and benefits Pay is $15–$16 per hour depending on experience. Crew members receive a CSA share and access to extra farm produce. Subsidized housing is available at the crew house in town, and eligible employees receive a 3% retirement match.
