Flower Installer and Maintenance Technician

Be Happy Property Services is hiring a full-time flower installer and maintenance technician to plant and care for displays across Anchorage. This is a hands-on gardening position for someone who enjoys seeing the result of careful planting, watering, pruning, and cleanup at the end of each day. The employee travels among local properties and helps keep flowers healthy and presentation-ready through the growing season. What you will do • Install seasonal flowers and fresh blooms at assigned Anchorage properties. • Water plantings thoroughly and adjust attention according to site and plant condition. • Prune and trim flowers and remove overgrowth or spent material as directed. • Monitor displays for visible stress, damage, or maintenance needs and communicate concerns. • Move between job sites while protecting client property and leaving work areas neat. • Transition to snow- and ice-management work during winter if continuing year-round. How the work fits together The workday begins at the scheduled reporting time with the route, plants, tools, and materials for the day's properties. At each stop, the technician evaluates the display, completes the planned installation or care work, cleans the surrounding area, and makes sure the next watering or maintenance need is understood. Because different sites receive different exposure and use, the employee must combine consistent routines with close observation rather than treating every bed identically. Schedule, conditions, and compensation The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with overtime available. Pay is $20–$27 per hour.
