Full-Time Farm Crew

Even Pull Farm is hiring one full-time crew member for its 3.5-acre intensive vegetable and cut-flower farm near McMinnville, Oregon. The farm serves local restaurants, a year-round retail cooler, Farm Club members, and florist customers. This role covers the full rhythm of small-scale production and offers daily, hands-on instruction from the farm's management team. What you will do • Harvest vegetables two to three days per week using knives and other hand tools • Prepare and clean the wash station, then wash, grade, and pack vegetables to order • Maintain food-safety and quality standards throughout harvest and packing • Transplant by hand and with the farm's waterwheel planter • Weed, trellis, spread compost, remove finished crops, and complete other crop-care work • Seed greenhouse trays, fill propagation trays, and wash harvest totes and bins • Pack Farm Club orders and help keep recurring weekly farm tasks on schedule • Assist with field cleanup and the wide variety of jobs required by a small diversified farm What the farm is looking for • Farming experience or comparable experience with sustained physical work, competitive athletics, or a busy restaurant kitchen • Able to remain on your feet all day and repeatedly bend and safely lift 40–50 pounds • Prepared for heat, cold, fatigue, repetition, and changing seasonal conditions • Detail-oriented, focused, receptive to feedback, and comfortable asking questions • Able to work with urgency without sacrificing accuracy or safety • Positive, dependable, and willing to help with any farm task • Reliable transportation to and from the farm is required; on-farm housing is not available Schedule This seasonal position runs through late November. It is 32–40 hours per week over four or five days. The regular schedule is Monday–Thursday, with occasional Friday or weekend hours discussed in advance. Workdays are generally eight hours, beginning around 8:00 a.m. in cooler months and 7:00 a.m. during summer. Hours taper at the edges of the season. Compensation and perks Starting pay is $16.75 per hour, with raises possible based on experience and performance. Full-time crew receive a $125 annual gear stipend and plenty of farm vegetables.
