Landscape Laborer

Backes Landscaping is hiring for the Landscape Laborer position in Fort Collins, CO. This hands-on role supports the operation's day-to-day production and care work. What you will do • Prepare sites and install assigned soil, plants, sod, mulch, edging, or landscape features to the approved plan. • Stage and handle plants, tools, and construction materials without damaging roots, finished work, or customer property. • Check layout, grade, drainage, irrigation, and finished detail with the crew lead throughout the project. • Support custom landscape installation in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Northern Colorado. • Assist with retaining walls and other design-build elements assigned by the foreman. • Keep project work timely, organized, and consistent with the customer-approved design. How the work fits together Installation work proceeds through layout, site preparation, underground or irrigation work, soil and grade, plant or material placement, finish detail, and cleanup.
