Landscaping Team Member

R&R Landscaping is looking for two full-time landscaping team members to build outdoor spaces in Auburn, Opelika, and the Lake Martin area. The design/build company works on planting, irrigation, lighting, and constructed landscapes, and it develops team members toward higher-skill roles. This opening is for a hardworking person who already understands basic landscape work and can safely contribute around commercial equipment and trailers. What you will do • Support installation of softscape, irrigation, lighting, drainage, and outdoor-living elements according to the project plan. • Handle plants and landscape materials carefully and maintain productive work pace outdoors. • Operate commercial landscape equipment safely within experience and company authorization. • Drive a pickup while towing a loaded trailer when assigned and secure materials and equipment correctly. • Work cooperatively with teammates and communicate progress, hazards, or plan questions to the lead. • Maintain a professional, customer-focused presence and dependable attendance. How the work fits together Design/build work moves from layout and preparation through installation and finish detail. Team members need to understand how their task affects the next trade or crew member, whether they are staging plants, helping with grade and drainage, placing materials, or cleaning the completed space. Safe trailer handling and equipment operation are important because crews and materials move among several East Alabama service areas. What the employer is looking for • Knowledge of the landscape industry plus willingness to keep learning new skills. • Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and experience towing a trailer with heavy loads behind a pickup. • Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment properly and safely. • Physical stamina for outdoor conditions, dependable and trustworthy conduct, respect for teammates, and professional client communication. Schedule, conditions, and compensation Pay is $15–$18 per hour depending on experience. R&R lists company-paid health insurance, retirement matching, career growth, and active skill development. The role is full-time.
