About this job

Krob Landscape is currently hiring lawn-maintenance crew members from its Silverhill base. The company provides landscape design, installation, and recurring maintenance across Baldwin and Mobile counties and nearby Gulf Coast communities. The crew-member opening is aimed at applicants who already have lawn-maintenance experience and can contribute safely to a professional route team. What you will do • Mow, edge, trim, and blow maintained lawns according to the assigned route and property standard. • Support bed care, shrub and small ornamental-tree pruning, mulch or pine-straw work, and general cleanup. • Use common hand tools and mechanical landscape equipment safely and efficiently. • Help audit visible irrigation performance and report leaks or minor repair needs. • Load and maintain an orderly truck, trailer, equipment set, and work area. • Follow the crew leader's priorities and complete each assignment with consistent detail and pace. How the work fits together Crew members prepare at the Silverhill operation and move through scheduled Gulf Coast properties. Each visit requires coordinated mowing and detail work, a final check for clippings and debris, and safe loading before travel. Heat, rain, fast plant growth, and irrigation conditions can change the route plan, so the employee should communicate what the property needs rather than simply rushing to the next address. What the employer is looking for • Prior lawn-maintenance experience is required for the crew-member opening; two to three years is preferred across the careers page. • A clean valid driver's license is preferred. • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and complete physical work outdoors. • Applicants must be willing to complete the employer's drug screening and should list relevant experience, skills, training, and licenses accurately. Schedule, conditions, and compensation Krob asks applicants to state a desired wage and does not publish a fixed range or benefit package, so none has been inferred. Candidates should confirm the offered rate, full-time schedule, overtime, reporting time, route area, transportation, provided protective equipment, advancement path, and whether the role is maintained year-round. This is an in-person horticulture and outdoor position with a small operation. Daily priorities can change with weather, plant or animal condition, equipment availability, customer schedules, and the season. The successful person should arrive ready to work, communicate early when a task or condition is unclear, follow the employer's safety and quality procedures, and leave tools, vehicles, production areas, and job sites secure and ready for the next shift. Applicants should expect active work that may include long periods of standing or walking, bending, lifting, repetitive hand tasks, noise, dust, mud, pollen, heat, cold, rain, or work around moving equipment. The exact physical demands differ by assignment. Candidates should discuss any accommodation needs with the employer and confirm the final schedule, overtime treatment, training period, travel expectations, and benefit eligibility before accepting an offer. Only compensation and benefits expressly published by the employer are included here; unpublished terms have not been estimated. How to apply Complete Krob Landscape's direct careers application, select Crew Member, and provide license information, desired wage, lifting response, relevant skills, and a resume if available. Applicants may use info@kroblandscape.com for company-specific questions.
