Organic Vegetable Farm Crew

Twin Organics is accepting applications for its 2026 farm crew near Northfield, Minnesota. Owned and operated by twin brothers Jacob and Andrew Helling, the farm grows about 15 acres of certified organic field and greenhouse vegetables on a 120-acre property. Its crops and spring plant starts are sold to Twin Cities food co-ops, distributors, retail outlets, and restaurants. What you will do • Transplant vegetable starts and complete other crop-establishment work in fields and greenhouses • Cultivate and weed crops efficiently while protecting plant quality • Set up, monitor, move, and maintain irrigation • Trellis and care for greenhouse crops, including more than 5,000 tomato plants and over 20 pepper varieties • Harvest vegetables at the correct maturity and quality standards • Wash, sort, pack, and prepare produce for delivery • Assist with general fieldwork, greenhouse work, farm maintenance, cleanup, and seasonal projects • Follow the farm's food-safety procedures and maintain organized work areas • Communicate with the owners and crew in either English or Spanish Qualifications and work expectations Applicants need at least three months of farm experience, reliable transportation to the rural farm, and an interest in sustainable organic vegetable production. Crew members must be able to lift 50 pounds, work outside in changing weather, and maintain a productive pace without sacrificing detail or food safety. The farm is bilingual; applicants must be able to communicate in English or Spanish. The season runs from March through November. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday for approximately 40–45 hours per week, with optional additional weekend hours. Pay starts at $15 per hour. Twin Organics provides a paid midday lunch break in its employee kitchen and offers paid time off and sick days.
