Seasonal Tree Farm & Planting Crew

Tree Rows 4 U is hiring seasonal crew members for its tree farm, staging lot, and planting projects in Bismarck. Help care for northern-hardy trees and establish them on customers' properties. This is physical outdoor work with a locally owned nursery business whose owners began planting trees on their own family farm. What you will do • Unload incoming trees and load plant material, tools, and equipment for planting projects. • Plant trees and install irrigation, weed barriers, and mulch. • Keep trees organized and cared for at the farm and staging lot. • Develop equipment skills when appropriate; tractor, landscaping-equipment, and farm-truck work may be available. How the work fits together The business focuses on trees and shrubs suited to North Dakota's growing conditions. Its plant range includes evergreens, deciduous trees, fruit trees, and shrubs for residential and commercial properties. The owners bring experience as farmers and ranchers to work that includes windbreaks, privacy plantings, shade, and wildlife habitat. They have spent more than twenty-five years learning from their own tree plantings and helping customers establish lasting landscapes. The tree farm and staging lot are the starting point for those projects: plants must be received, cared for, and prepared before installation. Crew members participate in both that nursery work and the hands-on task of getting trees established in the ground.
