Softscape & Landscape Maintenance Crew Member

Pine Valley Landscaping is accepting applications for crew work supporting softscape installation and ongoing landscape maintenance from its Jasper location. The local company builds and maintains residential and commercial outdoor spaces that combine plants, trees, flowerbeds, sod, mulch, pine straw, irrigation, and lawn care. This position is for someone who wants hands-on horticultural work and takes pride in a clean, complete result. What you will do • Install trees, shrubs, flowers, sod, mulch, and pine straw according to the approved plan. • Maintain lawns and planted beds through mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, pruning, and cleanup as assigned. • Help prepare soil and beds and protect roots, trunks, existing plants, and irrigation components during installation. • Support irrigation checks and report leaks, poor coverage, damaged lines, or plant stress. • Load and care for tools and materials and leave customer properties orderly at the end of each visit. • Assist the broader crew with pathways, retaining features, lighting, or other landscape elements within training. How the work fits together A workday may begin at the Jasper yard with loading and a review of the route or installation plan. At each property, the crew completes living-landscape work in the correct sequence so grading, irrigation, soil, plants, mulch, and cleanup support one another. The crew member should check plant handling and finished appearance throughout the job instead of waiting until the end to discover damage or missed work.
