What you will do • Seed, transplant, cultivate, irrigate, harvest, wash, pack, and store crops according to the farm's plan and food-safety procedures. • Use and care for assigned hand tools, wash-pack equipment, carts, and field equipment within training. • Monitor crops and communicate pest, disease, water, weather, quality, or harvest-timing concerns promptly. • Harvest, dry, sort, store, and document herbs, flowers, loofah, pollinator plants, and other approved materials moving from The Commons gardens into educational or small-batch products. • Prepare tools and workspaces and assist with measuring, sorting, approved production, labeling, packaging, sanitation, quality checks, inventory counts, and orderly batch records. • Support artisans and volunteers during production days, then help with workshops, markets, demonstrations, displays, customer interaction, setup, breakdown, photos, feedback, and cleanup.
