About this job

Sammamish Farms is hiring a CSA Manager to organize weekly vegetable shares and help bring the harvest to local households. This full-time role is based at the farm between Redmond and Woodinville. What you will do • Coordinate weekly CSA work and keep customer orders organized. • Help harvest and pack vegetables for customized shares. • Use farm computer systems to manage information accurately. • Plan your time and communicate clearly with the growing team. How the work fits together The farm grows a wide selection of vegetables on an intensively managed market-garden site. Its CSA gives members a regular connection to the harvest while allowing flexibility in what they receive. Customers can customize their shares, use credits, and skip weeks when needed. Reusable totes carry the produce, and weekly updates help members follow the season. A typical delivery brings together several different crops, so the quality of both the produce and the order matters. The farm emphasizes freshness, varied seasonal choices, and growing without genetically modified crops or synthetic fertilizers and herbicides. Its vegetable selection includes tender greens, carrots, garlic, peppers, and tomatoes. This is a small-scale growing operation whose customer relationships depend on consistent harvesting, thoughtful packing, and clear information about each week's available food. What the employer is looking for • Bring more than one year of experience on a diversified vegetable farm. • Have strong organization, time-management, and basic computer skills. • Be able to work outdoors in changing conditions and commute reliably to the farm. Schedule, conditions, and compensation Pay starts at $21 hourly, with experience considered. The position is full-time on weekdays. A performance review follows the first two months. The main CSA season runs April–October; discuss the remaining schedule and any later work when applying. How to apply Complete the farm's application with your experience, interest in CSA management, and availability. Applicants should already live locally or have independent plans to relocate. Hiring includes a three-to-five-hour working interview; confirm its arrangements and compensation in advance. Questions may be emailed to info@sammamishfarms.com.
