What you will do • Seed, transplant, cultivate, irrigate, harvest, wash, pack, and store crops according to the farm's plan and food-safety procedures. • Use and care for assigned hand tools, wash-pack equipment, carts, and field equipment within training. • Monitor crops and communicate pest, disease, water, weather, quality, or harvest-timing concerns promptly. • Operate late-model John Deere equipment for tillage, planting, cultivation, and harvest, following field plans, machine settings, traffic patterns, and crop-handling instructions supplied by the farm. • Set up, monitor, and maintain both gravity and center-pivot irrigation, checking water movement and equipment condition and communicating breakdowns or crop-water concerns quickly. • Drive trucks for approved farm work and complete routine mechanical service, diagnosis, repair, cleaning, and preparation so tractors, implements, irrigation equipment, and harvest machinery remain ready.
