Bee's Wing Farm is hiring a part-time Flower Farm Crew Member in White Post. Help grow and prepare seasonal flowers for customers in Northern Virginia and the Washington area. What you will do • Harvest carefully and efficiently, bunch stems, and assemble bouquets. • Transplant, weed, water, and carry out crop care. • Organize customer orders and maintain tools and work areas. • Track task times and help the team improve production consistency. How the work fits together Chelsea Belle founded Bee's Wing after years of growing vegetables and flowers on other farms. She returned to her home region in 2014 and began building a flower business with Chris Griffin, whose practical and mechanical skills support irrigation, equipment, and farm buildings. The family later purchased land in White Post to give the operation a new home. Their flowers serve weddings, floral designers, farmers markets, and subscription customers. Growing methods emphasize soil care, beneficial habitat, and thoughtful use of water. Annual and perennial flowers provide a varied seasonal harvest, while design and direct sales connect that harvest with local celebrations and everyday flower buyers. Crew members join a family business where fieldwork, careful handling, and finished bouquets are closely linked rather than isolated departments. What the employer is looking for • Lift 40 pounds and work actively outdoors in changing weather. • Be dependable, communicative, and comfortable around children and large farm dogs. • Have reliable transportation; flower experience is helpful but training is available. Schedule, conditions, and compensation Pay is $18–$20 hourly. Part-time morning hours are generally 7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with arrangements tied to seasonal needs.
