Ellis Home & Garden is hiring for the Greenhouse Associate position in Bossier City, LA. This hands-on role supports the operation's day-to-day production and care work. What you will do • Seed, transplant, space, prune, trellis, irrigate, harvest, or pack greenhouse crops according to the production plan. • Check environmental, irrigation, sanitation, and crop conditions and communicate deviations promptly. • Clean and organize tools, benches, channels, harvest containers, and production areas according to food- or plant-safety rules. • Tend plants and flowers inside the greenhouse through assigned watering, grooming, spacing, moving, display care, and routine observation of crop and irrigation condition. • Unload delivery trucks, inspect and move incoming plants and merchandise, stock greenhouse and store areas, and maintain organized labels, carts, benches, aisles, and workspaces. • Help customers locate and load purchases, communicate plant questions within training, and support cleaning, stocking, and other day-to-day greenhouse or store needs.
