What you will do • Install, inspect, diagnose, or repair irrigation lines, valves, heads, wiring, and controllers within assigned skill level. • Test coverage and operation, document findings, and explain unresolved water or system issues to the lead. • Protect utilities, plant roots, finished surfaces, and customer property during excavation and repair. • Assist experienced technicians with residential irrigation inspection, repair, redesign, and installation work. • Organize tools and materials, protect landscapes during excavation, and restore disturbed areas after service. • Build troubleshooting skill through the employer's paid continuing education and field training.
