Landscape Crew Member
Four Seasons Landscape and Property Services
🌱
About this job
Four Seasons Landscape and Property Services is directly recruiting a Landscape Crew Member in Southern California. The opening was confirmed on the employer's own website on August 25, 2026; it is not copied from a job aggregator. Four Seasons' company careers page lists Landscape Crew Member under Open Positions and provides a direct Apply Now route. The role supports the real day-to-day production and care work of this independently operated business, where reliable execution and early communication have a visible effect on the plants, animals, properties, projects, and customers the team serves.
What you will do
• Complete assigned mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, bed care, and property cleanup to the employer's finish standard.
• Inspect, use, clean, and secure assigned hand tools and powered landscape equipment safely.
• Protect plants, irrigation, buildings, vehicles, customers, and coworkers while work is underway.
• Perform turf care, mowing, planting, trimming, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler management.
• Work with the company's landscape specialists across scheduled client properties.
• Maintain the quality-service standard defined for the employer's Southern California clientele.
How the work fits together
Recurring landscape work is organized by route and property scope. The crew reviews priorities, prepares equipment, divides production and detail tasks, and checks the entire property before loading out. Team members must report plant stress, irrigation trouble, damage, unsafe conditions, or work outside the approved scope instead of concealing or guessing about it. At Four Seasons Landscape and Property Services, the employer also makes these role-specific priorities clear: Perform turf care, mowing, planting, trimming, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler management. Work with the company's landscape specialists across scheduled client properties. Maintain the quality-service standard defined for the employer's Southern California clientele.
What the employer is looking for
• Base knowledge of landscape care and ability to work cooperatively with a crew.
• Ability to perform the role's physical labor.
• Dependable attendance, direct communication, and willingness to follow the employer's safety, quality, and customer- or production-care procedures.
• Ability to complete the role's active, in-person work and to ask for instruction before using unfamiliar tools, equipment, products, or animal-handling methods.
Schedule, conditions, and compensation
The employer does not publish numeric pay, exact hours, benefits, or a season end on the opening page. The employer does not publish a numeric wage range on this page, so no compensation has been estimated. Applicants should confirm the final hours, overtime treatment, starting assignment, travel or reporting point, supplied equipment, and benefit eligibility directly with the employer before accepting an offer.
This is an in-person horticulture and outdoor position with a small operation. Daily priorities can change with weather, plant or animal condition, equipment availability, customer schedules, and the season. The successful person should arrive ready to work, communicate early when a task or condition is unclear, follow the employer's safety and quality procedures, and leave tools, vehicles, production areas, and job sites secure and ready for the next shift.
Applicants should expect active work that may include long periods of standing or walking, bending, lifting, repetitive hand tasks, noise, dust, mud, pollen, heat, cold, rain, or work around moving equipment. The exact physical demands differ by assignment. Candidates should discuss any accommodation needs with the employer and confirm the final schedule, overtime treatment, training period, travel expectations, and benefit eligibility before accepting an offer. Only compensation and benefits expressly published by the employer are included here; unpublished terms have not been estimated.
