What you will do • Install, inspect, diagnose, or repair irrigation lines, valves, heads, wiring, and controllers within assigned skill level. • Test coverage and operation, document findings, and explain unresolved water or system issues to the lead. • Protect utilities, plant roots, finished surfaces, and customer property during excavation and repair. • Install residential and commercial landscape and irrigation work. • Read installation plans and operate assigned equipment at the demonstrated skill level. • Support year-round projects without the winter layoff described by the employer. The employee isolates the problem, completes authorized work, tests the affected zone and surrounding system, restores disturbed soil or landscape, and records material and follow-up needs before leaving.
