Lead Riding Instructor and Barn Operations Manager

Trinity River Farm & Equestrian Center is hiring a full-time Lead Riding Instructor and Barn Operations Manager. Lead its English lesson program while helping coordinate horse care, barn routines, and the development of riders and instructors. What you will do • Teach riders from beginner through advanced levels. • Mentor assistant instructors and coordinate horse and rider assignments. • Help manage scheduling, animal care, and program development. • Lead riding instruction, activities, staff coordination, and camper safety during horse camps. How the work fits together Trinity River Farm is a working farm and equestrian facility in northeast Fort Worth, near the Interstate 30 corridor. Its programs combine horse boarding, training, riding instruction, and community activities. Riders can study dressage, hunter-jumper work, and eventing, with instruction available across ages and experience levels. A covered, lighted arena and a cross-country course support training throughout the year. The property also hosts clinics, gatherings, children's programs, and a riders club. These activities make the barn a place for ongoing learning as well as daily horse care. The leadership position connects the practical operation of that facility with the quality and consistency of its instruction, supporting a program where people return to develop their horsemanship over time. What the employer is looking for • Bring accomplished English riding-instruction skills; hunter-jumper, equitation, eventing, or similar teaching experience is preferred. • Prior barn, program, or team leadership is highly desirable. • Experience in both English and Western riding is a bonus. • Have reliable transportation and be at least 18, as required by the application. Schedule, conditions, and compensation This is a full-time leadership position. Outside camp periods, the focus returns to regular lessons and program operations.
