Farmers Market Staff

Conundrum Farms is hiring part-time Farmers Market Staff to sell produce from its small diversified farm in Crowley, Texas. This Saturday role includes both farm loading duties and representing the grower at market. What you will do • Load produce and market supplies at the farm, then drive a farm van to market. • Set up the booth, arrange products, serve customers, and explain the farm's produce and growing practices. • Handle payments, reconcile cash, track inventory, and maintain records. • Pack up, return to the farm, and unload. Schedule and requirements Expect approximately 8-10 hours on Saturdays, typically starting around 5 a.m. and finishing around 2-3 p.m. Times change with the season. You will work independently after initial training. Applicants need a valid driver's license, accurate cash-handling skills, basic iPad and spreadsheet familiarity, and reliable customer service. The role requires outdoor work, prolonged standing or walking, and repeated lifting of more than 50 pounds.
