What you will do • Seed, transplant, cultivate, irrigate, harvest, wash, pack, and store crops according to the farm's plan and food-safety procedures. • Use and care for assigned hand tools, wash-pack equipment, carts, and field equipment within training. • Monitor crops and communicate pest, disease, water, weather, quality, or harvest-timing concerns promptly. • Support seasonal organic production through propagation, bed preparation, planting, crop care, irrigation checks, cultivation, harvest, and field cleanup under the farm manager's direction. • Handle greens, vegetables, and herbs carefully for restaurant and direct-market orders, maintaining crop quality, accurate harvest quantities, orderly storage, and clean post-harvest work areas. • Learn the farm's crop-management and seasonal-growing systems, communicate field or plant-health observations, and help the expanding team carry work consistently across its Annapolis production sites.
