What you will do • Seed, transplant, cultivate, irrigate, harvest, wash, pack, and store crops according to the farm's plan and food-safety procedures. • Use and care for assigned hand tools, wash-pack equipment, carts, and field equipment within training. • Monitor crops and communicate pest, disease, water, weather, quality, or harvest-timing concerns promptly. • Help produce certified-organic vegetables, herbs, and garden seedlings through assigned seeding, propagation, bed preparation, transplanting, cultivation, irrigation, harvest, and crop cleanup. • Water, move, space, groom, label, and prepare seedlings for on-farm and wholesale sales while protecting plant health and keeping greenhouse and work areas orderly. • Harvest and prepare vegetables or herbs for institutional, natural-food-store, restaurant, caterer, and distribution orders, maintaining the farm's quality and accuracy standards.
