Good Stead Farm is hiring for the Organic Harvest & Wash-Pack Crew Member position in Hope, MI. This hands-on role supports the operation's day-to-day production and care work. What you will do • Receive, stage, sort, pack, load, or deliver farm products according to the day's orders, quality standards, and food-safety procedures. • Use assigned containers, carts, packing equipment, vehicles, and material-handling tools safely and only within completed training. • Maintain accurate counts and labels, protect product condition, and communicate shortages, damage, delays, sanitation concerns, or order exceptions promptly. • Harvest vegetables and fresh greens with the farm team, following crop-specific quality and quantity targets and keeping harvested food protected during field handling and transport. • Wash and store produce, accurately weigh, bag, and label greens, pack customer orders, and prepare and reset the wash-pack area for each harvest day. • Sanitize containers, tools, and equipment and use hand tools for transplanting, weeding, and other field maintenance when the harvest and packing schedule allows.
