Poultry & Egg Farm Worker
Molina Farm Co
π πΎ π₯
About this job
Molina Farm Co is recruiting full-time seasonal poultry and egg workers at its single farm site in Toccoa, Georgia. The job combines egg selection and packing with barn preparation, sanitation, fence and equipment upkeep, and other work needed to keep a live-bird operation running safely through the fall production season.
What you will do
β’ Follow the farm's biosecurity rules, including restrictions on keeping birds at home or visiting other poultry farms
β’ Watch the egg conveyor and remove damaged, dirty, or unusable eggs
β’ Replace fallen or damaged product only with clean, sound eggs and pack eggs into assigned boxes or buggies
β’ Verify cartons, closures, labels, and date codes and place finished product in the correct storage area
β’ Clean egg spills, waste, tools, equipment, and work areas every day
β’ Prepare barns, clear or paint fencing, drain fields, maintain tools, and complete related farm work when production or weather requires
How the work fits together
Quality work is repetitive but not casual. The employee must keep pace while still catching shell damage, contamination, incorrect packaging, or a poor date code. Biosecurity protects the entire flock, so clothing, footwear, traffic, and contact restrictions must be followed exactly. Alternative maintenance work may be assigned when egg work is limited; employees should be ready to move from the packing area to barns or outdoor farm tasks without leaving sanitation or safety work unfinished.
What the farm is looking for
No prior experience is stated, but applicants must be physically able to stand, bend, stoop, and complete repetitive work for extended periods. They should follow instructions, work collaboratively, protect product quality, and use equipment carefully. The job can involve wet fields, light rain, dust, and temperatures from about 10 to more than 100 degrees. Post-hire drug, alcohol, or background checks may be required at the employer's expense under the terms of the job order.
Schedule, conditions, and compensation
The role pays $12.57 per hour and is scheduled from September 22 through December 31, 2026. The order describes full-time work, possible ten-hour days depending on production, and voluntary additional hours when available. It participates in the H-2A program, but the published recruitment contact is also available to eligible U.S. applicants.
This is an in-person agricultural position. Farm priorities can change with animal health, weather, crop condition, equipment availability, and harvest timing, so the successful person must communicate clearly and adjust without losing sight of safety or animal welfare. Daily notes and records should be complete enough that another team member can understand what was observed, what was done, and what still needs attention. Tools, vehicles, gates, feed areas, water systems, and workspaces should be left clean, secure, and ready for the next shift.
Applicants should expect physical work that can include standing or walking for long periods, bending, lifting, repetitive hand tasks, wet or dusty conditions, and work outdoors or in warm agricultural buildings. A dependable arrival time matters because livestock and living production systems cannot simply wait for a late shift. Candidates should ask the employer about the exact weekly schedule, overtime treatment, training period, and any benefit eligibility before accepting an offer.
How to apply
Use the current recruitment page to apply or contact the employer at 706-969-1843. The source also provides an employer email link. Applicants should reference the Toccoa poultry and egg worker opening, confirm availability for the full season, and describe any egg packing, poultry, food-safety, sanitation, warehouse, or farm-maintenance experience.
