Seasonal Farm Fellow

Osprey Wilds is hiring for the Seasonal Farm Fellow position in Sandstone, MN. This hands-on role supports the operation's day-to-day production and care work. Reliable execution and early communication matter because the work directly affects plants, animals, equipment, coworkers, customers, or the surrounding property. What you will do • Seed, transplant, cultivate, irrigate, harvest, wash, pack, and store crops according to the farm's plan and food-safety procedures. • Use and care for assigned hand tools, wash-pack equipment, carts, and field equipment within training. • Monitor crops and communicate pest, disease, water, weather, quality, or harvest-timing concerns promptly. • Prepare soil, plant, weed, cultivate, and harvest produce at Trapp Farm, learning how the farm's crop plan moves from field preparation through a marketable harvest. • Wash, weigh, and pack harvested crops with close attention to cleanliness, accurate quantities, product quality, and the handling methods set by the farm managers. • Complete farm-infrastructure and stewardship projects, maintain shared tools and production areas, and coordinate effectively with managers, volunteers, and other workers even when assigned to work independently. Schedule, conditions, and compensation This is a seasonal Farm Fellow position at the 107-acre Trapp Farm in Sandstone.
