Osprey Hill Farm is accepting applications for its Seasonal Field Crew in Acme. Help with crop production and daily animal care in a small family-run farming operation. What you will do • Care for farm animals as part of the daily routine. • Transplant, weed, prune, and train crops as they grow. • Harvest, wash, and sort produce carefully. • Prepare orders and contribute to the field crew's seasonal work. How the work fits together Geoff and Anna Martin built Osprey Hill around growing food, raising a family, and caring for the land. Geoff manages field production and the day-to-day flow of crops and livestock. Anna works with young plants and animals as well as the planning, sales, ordering, and records behind the operation. Their farm combines hands-on production with the coordination needed to keep a diversified small business running. The growing program includes culinary herbs such as basil, parsley, mint, and thyme. Protected growing areas produce peppers and both cherry and heirloom tomatoes, while field crops include garlic, rhubarb, and several fruits. This variety gives the workplace a mix of crop-care tasks and harvest needs. The owners emphasize good food and sustaining natural resources, with the seasonal crew contributing directly to those priorities through everyday work. What the employer is looking for • Bring at least one to two years of related experience. • Be ready for hands-on field work and the responsibilities of daily animal care. • Explain the crop-production or livestock skills you would bring to a small seasonal team. Schedule, conditions, and compensation Work is paid hourly, with the starting wage based on experience. Exact hours, employment dates, and compensation should be discussed with the farm.
