Cross Street Flower Farm is hiring for the Seasonal Flower Field Crew position in Norwell, MA. This hands-on role supports the operation's day-to-day production and care work. What you will do • Seed, transplant, cultivate, irrigate, harvest, wash, pack, and store crops according to the farm's plan and food-safety procedures. • Use and care for assigned hand tools, wash-pack equipment, carts, and field equipment within training. • Monitor crops and communicate pest, disease, water, weather, quality, or harvest-timing concerns promptly. • Seed, transplant, weed, water, support, prune, deadhead, and otherwise care for specialty cut-flower crops in the field and protected growing spaces according to the farm plan. • Harvest flowers at the required stage, process and condition stems, wash buckets and tools, and prepare clean, consistent flowers for shares, the farm shop, floral work, and other customer orders. • Keep barns, greenhouses, field edges, harvest equipment, and shared work areas organized, and occasionally support farm visitors, flower events, or chicken care when the farm assigns it.
