Clinton Sease Farm is hiring seasonal team members for its corn maze and pumpkin patch in Lexington. Enthusiastic applicants age 15 and older are welcome, including people seeking their first or second job. What you will do • Join the team supporting the farm's fall visitor season. • Attend orientation, employee training, and the family-and-friends soft launch. • Work your assigned weekend shifts throughout the seasonal commitment. How the work fits together The Sease family's farming roots began with twenty acres purchased in 1940. Armand and Roselyn built their home and started farming the property two years later, initially growing sweet potatoes and peas. Leafy greens became an important crop, followed by green onions. Clinton and Shirley took over in 1978, continuing that vegetable-growing tradition. Their daughter Carrie suggested adding a corn maze in 2004, opening another way for people to visit the farm. The fall operation now brings together mazes, playground activities, an obstacle course, wagon rides, and a pumpkin patch. School tours and birthday gatherings are also part of the seasonal setting. This position belongs to that visitor operation, connecting a working family farm with people spending time outdoors during the autumn harvest season. What the employer is looking for • Be at least 15 and able to commit to the required weekends. • Applicants ages 15–17 need a parent or guardian at orientation and on the application signature. Schedule, conditions, and compensation Orientation is September 6, training September 12, and the soft launch September 19. Public weekends run September 25–November 8, 2026. Choose Friday 6–10 p.m. plus Saturday 10 a.m.–4 p.m., or Saturday 4–10 p.m. plus Sunday 2–7 p.m. Pay is discussed during hiring. A $100 attendance bonus has strict eligibility rules, including working every assigned weekend without changes.
