Cultivation Team Member
The Grove

About this job
The Grove is hiring for the Cultivation Team Member position in Pahrump, NV. This hands-on role supports the operation's day-to-day production and care work. Reliable execution and early communication matter because the work directly affects plants, animals, equipment, coworkers, customers, or the surrounding property.
What you will do
• Seed, transplant, space, prune, trellis, irrigate, harvest, or pack greenhouse crops according to the production plan.
• Check environmental, irrigation, sanitation, and crop conditions and communicate deviations promptly.
• Clean and organize tools, benches, channels, harvest containers, and production areas according to food- or plant-safety rules.
• Support the assigned stage of the indoor LED-grown cannabis crop, following the cultivation lead's written procedures for plant handling, room entry, sanitation, environmental care, harvest preparation, or other authorized garden work.
• Keep plants, tools, containers, work surfaces, protective equipment, crop lots, and cultivation rooms clean and correctly identified, and follow every access, inventory, traceability, security, and waste procedure supplied during training.
• Observe plant vigor, moisture, pests, disease, damage, environmental readings, irrigation, and equipment condition and report exceptions immediately rather than changing a crop input, treatment, setting, or record without authorization.
How the work fits together
Controlled-environment work is still driven by living crops. Employees begin with irrigation, climate, and crop-health checks, then complete scheduled propagation, cultural care, harvest, packing, and sanitation. Accurate observations and records help the small team respond before a minor equipment or crop issue becomes a production loss. At The Grove, the employer also makes these role-specific priorities clear: Support the assigned stage of the indoor LED-grown cannabis crop, following the cultivation lead's written procedures for plant handling, room entry, sanitation, environmental care, harvest preparation, or other authorized garden work. Keep plants, tools, containers, work surfaces, protective equipment, crop lots, and cultivation rooms clean and correctly identified, and follow every access, inventory, traceability, security, and waste procedure supplied during training. Observe plant vigor, moisture, pests, disease, damage, environmental readings, irrigation, and equipment condition and report exceptions immediately rather than changing a crop input, treatment, setting, or record without authorization.
What the employer is looking for
• Knowledgeable and passionate about cannabis, committed to doing the work correctly, and able to contribute to the collaborative, supportive culture described by the employer while completing repetitive plant-care and sanitation tasks carefully.
• Applicants must be able to satisfy every Nevada cannabis-industry age, work-card, background, access, and compliance requirement that applies to the final assignment. The careers page does not state the exact prerequisites, so confirm them before incurring any application cost.
• Dependable attendance, direct communication, and willingness to follow the employer's safety, quality, and customer- or production-care procedures.
• Ability to complete the role's active, in-person work and to ask for instruction before using unfamiliar tools, equipment, products, or animal-handling methods.
Schedule, conditions, and compensation
The employer's careers page does not publish whether the current cultivation need is full-time, part-time, regular, seasonal, or temporary, and it does not provide the shift, weekly hours, numeric wage, overtime treatment, or benefits. Cultivation and packaging are named as separate work areas, so applicants should ask which team is hiring, where the production work reports, whether shifts include weekends or holidays, and what licenses, clothing, physical demands, training, and compensation apply. The Pahrump business address is 1541 East Basin Avenue; confirm the actual cultivation reporting site before traveling. The employer does not publish a numeric wage range on this page, so no compensation has been estimated. Applicants should confirm the final hours, overtime treatment, starting assignment, travel or reporting point, supplied equipment, and benefit eligibility directly with the employer before accepting an offer.
This is an in-person horticulture and outdoor position with a small operation. Daily priorities can change with weather, plant or animal condition, equipment availability, customer schedules, and the season. The successful person should arrive ready to work, communicate early when a task or condition is unclear, follow the employer's safety and quality procedures, and leave tools, vehicles, production areas, and job sites secure and ready for the next shift.
Applicants should expect active work that may include long periods of standing or walking, bending, lifting, repetitive hand tasks, noise, dust, mud, pollen, heat, cold, rain, or work around moving equipment. The exact physical demands differ by assignment. Candidates should discuss any accommodation needs with the employer and confirm the final schedule, overtime treatment, training period, travel expectations, and benefit eligibility before accepting an offer. Only compensation and benefits expressly published by the employer are included here; unpublished terms have not been estimated.
