Cultivation Technician

Big River is hiring for the Cultivation Technician position in Vicksburg, MS. This hands-on role supports the operation's day-to-day production and care work. What you will do • Seed, transplant, space, prune, trellis, irrigate, harvest, or pack greenhouse crops according to the production plan. • Check environmental, irrigation, sanitation, and crop conditions and communicate deviations promptly. • Clean and organize tools, benches, channels, harvest containers, and production areas according to food- or plant-safety rules. • Defoliate, transplant, water, mix nutrients, take clones and cuttings, prune, flush, and otherwise care for medical-cannabis plants under the Cultivation Lead and Head Grower. • Observe plant development, lighting schedules, pests, and microbials; harvest plants; take and record required measurements; and submit complete records to the Compliance Officer. • Execute cultivation techniques consistently, follow good agricultural practices and Mississippi requirements, and keep the tightly spaced growing rooms, tools, and work surfaces clean and organized.
