Farm Customer Service Representative

Miller's Bio Farm is hiring a Customer Service Representative at its Quarryville farm. Help customers with orders and product questions while working closely with the service manager in a busy farm-direct food business. What you will do • Answer emails and calls and return customer messages. • Resolve order, tracking, replacement, refund, and credit questions. • Keep accurate notes and learn the farm's products and service systems. How the work fits together Aaron Miller grew up working on a dairy farm and later developed his own approach to farming after learning from a neighboring grass farmer. His family began selling its products in 2009 and built an online business that also sources food from nearby farms, many of them Amish-owned. Dairy production remains part of the operation, alongside a broader selection of farm foods offered directly to households. The business places importance on relationships between growers and customers and on explaining where food comes from. Customer service supports that relationship by helping people navigate their orders and understand the products they buy. The position is office-based at the farm, rather than a livestock-care or field-production role. What the employer is looking for • Communicate clearly, manage high inquiry volumes, and stay patient and reliable. • Type at least 80 words per minute and use Gmail, Google Docs, and Sheets confidently. • Be curious about food production and willing to learn from feedback. Schedule, conditions, and compensation Pay is $22–$24/hour for approximately 40 hours weekly. Training is 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; the trained shift is noon–8 p.m. One Saturday in three is worked remotely.
