Field and Farm Crew Member

Sweet Berry Farm is hiring seasonal Field and Farm Crew members in Middletown. Help with harvests, flowers, and pick-your-own visitors, with some shifts also supporting the farm stand during the busy season through the holidays. What you will do • Work at pick-your-own tents and help visitors enjoy the farm. • Harvest crops, wash produce, cut flowers, and pick rocks from fields. • Help at the stand when field hours are limited. • Contribute to a friendly team serving farm customers. How the work fits together Sweet Berry occupies 100 acres on Aquidneck Island, where fields and orchards have welcomed local families for more than four decades. The farm is investing in soil health through cover crops, compost, crop rotation, and reduced tillage. Its growing areas include fruit, vegetables, and flowers, with 22 acres in cultivation for 2026. The market and café connect those harvests with visitors and with other regional growers and food makers. Orchard renewal, expanded vegetable production, and a broader flower program are part of the farm's ongoing work. Pick-your-own visits give people a direct experience of the growing season, while the stand offers another way to bring that food home. Crew members help bridge agricultural work and those everyday customer experiences, so this position includes both outdoor tasks and public-facing service.
