Lost & Found Farm is hiring for the Flower Field & Greenhouse Crew position in Dresden, ME. This hands-on role supports the operation's day-to-day production and care work. Reliable execution and early communication matter because the work directly affects plants, animals, equipment, coworkers, customers, or the surrounding property. What you will do • Seed, transplant, space, prune, trellis, irrigate, harvest, or pack greenhouse crops according to the production plan. • Check environmental, irrigation, sanitation, and crop conditions and communicate deviations promptly. • Clean and organize tools, benches, channels, harvest containers, and production areas according to food- or plant-safety rules. • Fill flats, seed and water greenhouse crops, organize plants, prepare beds with compost and fabric, transplant flowers, and install posts, string, trellis, and irrigation components. • Weed with hand and stand-up tools, harvest each flower at the farm's required stage, carry stems to the cooler, wash buckets, and keep field and greenhouse work areas organized. • Support fall cleanup and occasional blueberry or other farm projects, and use a mower, trimmer, or other power tool only after receiving training and authorization. Employees begin with irrigation, climate, and crop-health checks, then complete scheduled propagation, cultural care, harvest, packing, and sanitation. Schedule, conditions, and compensation This is part-time seasonal work. The Field & Greenhouse schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., April through October; the Morning Field Crew works Monday and Thursday through September. Positions start at $17.50 per hour or more with experience. Additional shifts may be possible, but no conventional benefits or guaranteed extra hours are published. The employer publishes starting compensation of $17.5 per hour; no upper limit is stated.
