Garden Center and Nursery Sales Associate

Wyatt Farms is hiring a Garden Center and Nursery Sales Associate in Greenwood. Combine customer service with hands-on plant care, container planting, and flower arranging at the Garden Shop. Full-time and part-time arrangements are available. What you will do • Help customers choose plants and answer gardening questions. • Water, prune, fertilize, and remove spent flowers from nursery and greenhouse plants. • Occasionally maintain garden plants and cut-flower beds. • Plant containers, arrange bouquets, and accurately process purchases. How the work fits together Wyatt Farms began as a garden center and nursery in 2005, later adding landscape design and installation. The Garden Shop remains focused on healthy plants and gifts for gardeners. Its plant selection includes ornamental shrubs, perennials, seasonal flowering annuals, and indoor varieties. Retail and marketing manager Annie Holloway works with sales associates Audra Hinton and Samantha Greenman, giving the shop a small, named local team. The surrounding property includes planted areas used for picnics and photographs, pastures with goats and a miniature donkey, and an independent artist's studio. The sales associate joins the plant-retail operation within that setting. Daily work connects the care of living inventory with the advice and service customers receive when selecting plants for their own homes and gardens. What the employer is looking for • Communicate positively, solve problems, and work dependably with others. • Have reliable transportation and weekend availability; lift 50 pounds and work outside year-round. • A high school diploma, horticultural certificate, or four-year degree is preferred.
