What you will do • Seed, transplant, space, prune, trellis, irrigate, harvest, or pack greenhouse crops according to the production plan. • Check environmental, irrigation, sanitation, and crop conditions and communicate deviations promptly. • Clean and organize tools, benches, channels, harvest containers, and production areas according to food- or plant-safety rules. • Work closely with the greenhouse growers to train, prune, and care for vegetable crops, following crop-specific directions for plant handling, ties, spacing, sanitation, water, and harvest readiness. • Check greenhouse vegetables and work areas for wilt, breakage, overgrowth, pests, disease, irrigation trouble, fallen labels, and unsafe or unsanitary conditions and bring exceptions to the grower promptly. • Move plants, tools, ties, containers, and harvested product carefully; keep rows and work areas accessible; and help reset the greenhouse for the next watering, pruning, training, or harvest assignment.
