Harvest Co-Manager

Winter Green Farm is hiring a Harvest Co-Manager in Noti. Work with fellow managers to organize field harvests and produce packing, lead the crew, and deliver consistent quality for the farm's CSA, markets, and wholesale customers. What you will do • Track crop readiness and plan harvest assignments, quantities, and timing. • Train and coordinate workers in safe, efficient harvesting and processing. • Manage cooler organization, product allocation, sanitation checks, and food-safety records. • Keep tools and supplies ready and communicate crop, crew, and field needs to managers and owners. How the work fits together Winter Green began in 1980 and has been certified organic since 1984. Chris and Shannon met while working at the farm and now run its vegetable production and sheep enterprise with their sons and a committed team. About twenty-five acres produce vegetables and berries, while pasture, hay ground, woodland, and wetlands make up the wider farm landscape. Compost, crop rotations, cover crops, and grazing animals support the farm's approach to soil fertility. Its food reaches customers through CSA shares, farmers markets, and wholesale relationships, with additional produce directed to local food-access efforts. Harvest management connects this diverse growing operation with the practical task of preparing food for those outlets. Schedule, conditions, and compensation This is a full-time role. Pay depends on experience and is discussed during hiring.
