CT Ranch is looking for a Morning Milking Assistant in Emory. Join a small dairy team and help with the cows' morning milking routine. The ranch welcomes applicants who are new to farm work and ready to learn. What you will do • Milk the ranch's cows as part of the morning team. • Help get the dairy operation ready for the day. • Learn the ranch's milking routines through practical training with the team. How the work fits together Pierre and Nicole Caballero run CT Ranch with their family in East Texas. Their farming began with chickens, beef animals, and goats before a dairy cow joined the operation in 2013. Selling the extra milk led to a waiting list and the addition of another cow. Dairy production has since become part of a wider ranch business supplying meat and milk to farm members. The Caballeros work directly with their animals, and their children also help with chores. The herd is handled daily, with individual animals known by name. This is a hands-on family operation where food production, animal care, and everyday family life share the same setting. Customers connect with the ranch through its membership and pickup arrangements rather than an anonymous commodity supply chain. The morning milking position contributes directly to that local dairy operation.
