Ranch Hand

RedStone Ranch is hiring a full-time Ranch Hand for its community-focused barnyard operation in Coconut Creek, Florida. The independently operated ranch combines a riding academy, a hands-on barnyard, and farm-based family programs. This is a working animal-care and upkeep position rather than a guest animal-interaction role, and it is best suited to someone who takes pride in dependable daily routines and a clean, safe ranch. Animal care and closing responsibilities • Prepare grain buckets and complete the evening feeding routine for cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and other ranch animals • Clean, refill, and monitor water sources while watching for changes in animal condition or behavior • Clean stalls, pens, barns, and animal enclosures and remove manure from working areas • Help move livestock safely when directed and report health concerns promptly • Restock feed, bedding, and other frequently used animal-care supplies • Check gates, latches, and pen entrances carefully and secure them before leaving each evening Ranch and visitor-area work • Keep barnyard grounds and guest spaces clean, orderly, and ready for the next day's visitors • Empty trash, replace liners, and clean and sanitize the barnyard restrooms • Take down and secure the bounce house at closing • Use basic farm tools and equipment safely, with task-specific training as needed • Assist with practical maintenance and special ranch projects as priorities change Qualifications Previous farm, ranch, livestock, or stable experience is required. Applicants must be comfortable around both large and small animals, able to lift more than 50 pounds repeatedly, and prepared for physical work in Florida heat, rain, and changing outdoor conditions. RedStone is seeking someone punctual, honest, self-directed, and attentive enough to notice work that needs doing without constant supervision. Weekend and holiday availability is required. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred. Schedule, pay, and benefits The regular schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Pay is $18–$20 per hour depending on experience.
