About this job

Triangle C Ranch is accepting applications for a Wrangler near Dubois for the remainder of its 2026 summer season. Work with horses and guests at a family-operated ranch in the Wind River Valley. What you will do β€’ Feed and care for livestock, with safety guiding every activity. β€’ Teach introductory riding skills and lead trail rides. β€’ Help maintain trails and ranch grounds, repair fences, and complete other ranch tasks. β€’ Assist with additional guest activities where your experience qualifies you. How the work fits together Chris and Barbara Cox run Triangle C with their children and a staff focused on horsemanship and outdoor experiences. The ranch lies eighteen miles west of Dubois in the Shoshone National Forest area. Its riding program accommodates different skill levels, bringing together family vacations, lessons, and time on mountain trails. Children participate in age-appropriate activities, including pony rides for younger visitors and trail outings for older children. Guests can also fish, hike, attend outdoor cookouts, and enjoy the Wind River setting. The owners combine preservation of the ranch's history with improvements to its facilities and activities. Wranglers contribute to this hands-on riding environment by helping visitors develop confidence around horses while keeping animal care and practical ranch work moving alongside the guest schedule. What the employer is looking for β€’ Be at least an intermediate rider with clear communication skills, patience, and honesty. β€’ Be eighteen or older, with a high-school diploma or equivalent and U.S. work eligibility. β€’ Hold current CPR and First Aid certification. Schedule, conditions, and compensation The season extends to approximately mid-September; shorter availability requires agreement with the ranch. Staff receive pay, shared lodging, meals, and access to ranch facilities. Confirm the pay rate and any end-of-season bonus eligibility. Hours and assignments vary. Western work attire is required. The workplace is smoke- and drug-free, and personal pets or horses cannot be accommodated. How to apply Complete the employment application and send it to info@trianglec.com with your available dates. Include an introduction video and a second video showing saddling and riding at walk, trot, and canter. Call 307-455-2225 with questions.
