About this job

Creambrook Farm is hiring a full-time CDL Distribution Driver based in Stuarts Draft. Deliver milk shares and farm products while keeping routes, vehicles, and customer pickup points organized. What you will do • Check, load, deliver, and unload orders accurately. • Maintain delivery records and communicate with pickup-site hosts. • Clean and maintain drop-off refrigerators and handle route issues. • Complete vehicle checks, routine cleaning, and light maintenance. How the work fits together Ben and Kristen Beichler began farming together with a rented homestead, a small flock of chickens, and four cows. They later worked on grass-based dairies to build their skills before purchasing their Shenandoah Valley farm in 2017. Creambrook is now their family home and dairy business, centered on pasture-raised Jersey cows and a herd-share customer community. The owners live and work on the farm with their five sons. Their business connects animal care and milk production with regular distribution to participating households. The driving role supports the delivery side of that relationship: products must arrive at the correct pickup locations in an orderly and dependable way. It is a position within an independent family dairy rather than a general freight operation, with recurring contact with the farm's distribution network. What the employer is looking for • Hold a Class A CDL, clean driving record, tanker qualification, and the required air-brake/manual-transmission capability. • Bring truck or delivery experience, navigation skills, and accurate counting habits. • Lift 60 pounds, move loaded dollies, and work independently with good communication. Schedule, conditions, and compensation Weekday daytime schedules fall within approximately 4 a.m.–6 p.m., with occasional evening or Saturday work. The role includes handling loaded milk dollies weighing up to 250 pounds. Discuss route hours, pay, and employment benefits with the farm. How to apply Email manager@creambrookfarm.com about the CDL Distribution Driver opening. Include your resume, driving qualifications, relevant delivery experience, and availability. Confirm the licensing requirements and the Stuarts Draft work location during the hiring discussion.
