Rolling Plains Adventures is hiring Hunting Guides for its fall season at Black Leg Ranch near McKenzie. What you will do • Guide guests during the ranch's fall hunting program. • Provide considerate, friendly service and help visitors enjoy their stay. • Work dependably with the ranch team and adapt to changing guest needs. How the work fits together The Doan family established Black Leg Ranch in 1882 and continues operating its cattle business across successive generations. Rolling Plains Adventures began in 2000 as another part of the family enterprise. Its hunting program uses private ranch land, with lodges and meals bringing guests together between outings. Pheasant trips focus on wild birds and varied habitat. Waterfowl hunting takes place along the central flyway, where migrating birds visit the property's fields and ponds. Packages include experienced guides and transportation to the field. Guests typically stay for several days, so attentive service and relationships matter throughout the visit. Guides work within this ranch-based hospitality operation, alongside the staff who provide meals, accommodation, and other guest services. What the employer is looking for • Be at least eighteen and eligible to work in the United States. • Bring relevant guiding skills, strong people skills, and a reliable work ethic. • Be flexible, willing to learn, and clear about the dates you can work. Schedule, conditions, and compensation The season runs from approximately mid-September through November and may extend into mid-December. Compensation includes salary, overtime pay, and room and board; confirm the salary, assignments, and exact dates during hiring.
